Key Definitions
- • Services: UI/UX design, web development, and strategic consulting provided by uxpira.
- • Client: Any individual or entity purchasing or inquiring about our Services.
- • Deliverables: The specific assets, designs, or code provided as part of a project.
"Service" is defined by the specific proposal and statement of work, not by the general listing on our site.
Intellectual Property
Client Ownership: Upon final payment, the Client owns the rights to the final approved Deliverables. This includes the visual design and content created specifically for them.
Studio Rights: uxpira retains the right to showcase the work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., for sensitive internal projects).
Third-Party Assets: Fonts, icons, or stock photography licensed for a project are for the Client's use within the scope of the project. Licenses must be renewed for extended use.
Engagement & Deliverables
All work begins with a formal proposal and Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW outlines the scope, timeline, deliverables, and costs. Any changes to the scope must be mutually agreed upon and may impact the timeline and budget.
We structure our work in phases (Discovery, Design, Development) to ensure quality. Client feedback and approvals are required at the end of each phase to proceed.
Payment terms are typically 50% upfront and 50% upon project completion, unless otherwise specified in the SOW. Invoices are due within 15 days.
A project is considered complete upon delivery of final files and final payment. We provide a 30-day warranty for bugs related to our delivered code. Ongoing support is available via separate maintenance agreements.
